NSD President Mandić emphasized on this occasion that peace, stability and unity are the most important, and that the New Serbian Democracy is the backbone of the current government. In this context, he emphasized that, after the fall of the Milo Đukanović regime, more than a hundred thousand citizens of Montenegro were given the chance to work, and that this was especially visible in Pljevlja.

He emphasized that the NSD is strongest in this city and that other cities across Montenegro will continue to follow this trend, and that our policy of reconciliation will be the absolute winner on the political scene of our country in the long term.

Celebrating Saint Basil of Ostrog, Mandić also presented the highest party decoration - the "Marko Daković Order" - to the distinguished academician Slavenko Terzić, for his exceptional contribution to the Serbian people in the field of history, emphasizing that this decoration has so far been presented to academician Matija Bećković, professors of the Serbian language and Metropolitan of Budimlje-Niksić, Mr. Metodije.

"Academician Terzić thanked Mandić, adding that he was honored to be presented with the order that bears the name of the leader of enlightened and democratic Serbian youth in Montenegro from the beginning of the 20th century," concluded a statement from the New Serbian Democracy (NSD).
