The President of the Association of Managers of Montenegro, Budimir Raičković, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Savković, signed a Cooperation Agreement establishing a framework for stronger connections between the academic community and the economy, through joint activities in the areas of education, leadership, corporate governance and development of young personnel, the Faculty of Law announced.

The cooperation will, according to the statement, include the organization of conferences, education, professional gatherings, mentoring programs and student internships, with the aim of providing students with more practical knowledge and more direct contact with the business community and institutions.

The President of the Association of Managers of Montenegro, Budimir Raičković, said that the partnership between AMM and the Faculty of Law represents an important message about the kind of Montenegro we want to build.

"No society can be strong without strong institutions, quality education and responsible leaders. That is why the partnership between the Faculty of Law and AMM is of particular importance — because it combines knowledge, law and practice. Today, it is not enough to have theoretical knowledge, but it is necessary to create generations of young people who will know how to lead systems, make responsible decisions and build trust in institutions and the economy. As an umbrella leadership and management business organization, AMM wants to be a bridge between universities and the real sector, because we believe that the development of a country cannot be built separately from knowledge and young people," said Raičković.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Savković, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the academic community and the business sector. “Our goal is to enable students of the Faculty of Law, especially those specializing in business law, to develop practical skills and gain professional contacts. We believe that the partnership with AMM provides significant opportunities in this direction, and that through joint efforts we can improve the education of personnel in the field of modern corporate governance. By signing the Agreement, we confirm our commitment to making education more meaningful and closer to the real needs of society and the economy,” emphasized Savković.

The agreement also provides for cooperation in the areas of digital transformation, innovation, ESG principles, artificial intelligence, and modern management models, through projects of importance to the academic and business community.

"By signing the Agreement, AMM and the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro confirm their joint commitment to strengthening the connection between education and the economy, creating a better business environment and opening new opportunities for the young generation in Montenegro," the statement concludes.
