The grant manager of the EU4ALL project, Darko Mrvaljević, said that the interest of municipalities in this program is already significant.
"Through the EU for All project, in the first call for project proposals, 900,000 euros will be available to Montenegrin municipalities. Initiatives and projects related to the improvement of public infrastructure, as well as services at the local level, can be financed on a non-refundable basis in the amount of 30,000 to 60,000 euros per project."
As part of preparations for the publication of this call, meetings were held with representatives of 23 local government units, competent ministries, as well as with representatives of related projects being implemented in Montenegro.
"Municipalities have shown great interest, because through these funds, they will be able to fulfill the measures from their strategic development plans and other strategic documents at the local level, and thus improve the quality of life of their citizens," concluded Mrvaljević.
The EU4ALL project is co-financed by the European Union and implemented by NALAS in partnership with the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro, with the aim of strengthening the capacities of municipalities for the efficient use of EU funds and improving local development.
