Gasoline more expensive, diesel cheaper

Starting today, gasoline derivatives will increase in price in Montenegro, while diesel and heating oil prices will decrease slightly in accordance with the new calculation of maximum retail prices of petroleum derivatives, the Ministry of Energy and Mining announced.

"In accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the method of calculating maximum retail prices of certain types of petroleum products, which entered into force on March 24, 2026, the next calculation will be carried out on May 4, 2026, and any changed prices of petroleum products will be valid from May 5, 2026," the Ministry stated.
