Luca wins three medals in Novi Sad

Table tennis players from Luče finished their performance at the traditional international tournament Tvrđava 021 open 2026 in Novi Sad with three medals - one gold, one silver and one bronze.

Milijana Ćirković won gold and silver, while Pjetro Paljušević, despite his excellent performance in the group, had to settle for bronze.

Ćirković won the gold medal in the combined 6-10 categories after defeating Jana Griva 3:0 and Zoja Berak.

In the mixed competition of combined categories 6-7, she was a finalist, but was defeated by Milan Antic in the gold medal match.

Ćirković was convincing in the semifinals against Straško Kocevski from North Macedonia 3:0.

In the eight-man category, Igor Mijović finished the competition in the group, with a win and two losses.

He defeated Darko Anđelković, while he was defeated by Darko Jovanović and Dorel Mureşanu.

In the 6-7 category, Đuro Krivokapić suffered two losses to Kocevski and Antic.

The members of Luca also competed in doubles, but they did not win a medal.

Montenegrin table tennis players were led by coach Čedomir Damjanović.

The tournament, which was played in Spence, brought together 48 competitors from nine states.
