Kukuličić and Đuranović best at the rally in Pljevlja

Today, the 31st Montenegrin Athletics Trophy and the Montenegrin 10,000-meter Track Championship for men and women was held in Pljevlja, at the stadium under Golubinja, in the technical organization of the Rudar Athletics Club, in cooperation with the Athletics Federation of Montenegro and with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

Athletes from athletics clubs – Nikšić, Tara, Mornar, Zeta 2012, Jedinstvo, Sanja, Lim, Rudar, Podgorica, Fap (Priboj), Sparta and Orion – participated in the competition.

The best athletes of the meeting were declared in the men's competition. Ivan Kukuličić, member of AK Zeta 2012 whose discus throw result of 50.13 according to IAAF tables is worth 879 points for women Andjela Djuranovic from AK Sanja whose long jump result of 5.39m is worth 837 points according to the IAAF tables.

The competition was attended by the secretary of ASCG. Milan Madžgalj, selector Osman Erovic and members of the national team coaching staff: Branislav MaslovaricDrago MusicMarko RisticDragoje-Gaga RajkovicBudimir Jestrovic, as well as Milena Mudresa, President of the Competition Commission of the Athletics Federation of Montenegro.

Athlete AK Tara from Mojkovac Kristina Kljajevic in the shot put with a score of 15.07 (norm 14.20m), she met the norm to compete at the European Junior Championships, which will be held in Rieti (Italy).  

As part of the Trophy, the Montenegrin Championship in the 10,000m was held in both men's and women's competitions. In the senior category, the athlete AK Mornar from Bar triumphed. Miljan Kukuličić with a result of 34:44.02 ahead of the athletes of AK Nikšić from Nikšić Todor Nikolic with a score of 35:45.48, in the senior women's category she won Sladjana Pejovic member of AK Nikšić from Nikšić with a result of 39:33.05, ahead of the athlete AK Sparta from Podgorica Lidija Todorović with the result of the athletes of AK Nikšić Anastasia Djurdjevac sa rezultatom.
