The Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica marked the beginning of the reconstruction of the interior of the first floor of the building - the works will, as announced, cost around 900 thousand euros, and employees and students will have much better working conditions.

The state, as emphasized, is also trying to improve the education system by investing in infrastructure - after the adaptation of the Faculty of Architecture, it was the turn of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

"What makes us all happy is that colleagues from the Faculty of Architecture and Electrical Engineering are involved in the implementation of the project, which means that we have grown to work together and leave a mark in higher education," emphasized the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation. Anđela Jaksić-Stojanović.

Prof. Dr. Vladimir BozovicThe Rector of the University of Montenegro stated that the foundations of the infrastructure are being built for a faculty that will later build all of us.

"This is significant from the perspective of both professors and students at this faculty," Božović emphasized.

Ulaganjima u infrastrukturu, poručuju sa Univerziteta,  stvara se funkcionalno, inspirativno i stimulativno okruženje za učenje, nauku i kreativnost.

"Infrastructural changes and everything that has been happening at the University in the last few years contributes to the quality of life for students and teaching staff, as well as to the positive atmosphere," emphasized the President of the UCG Board, Prof. Dr. Milivoje Radovic.

Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. Milivoje Rogac He stated that the adaptation of the first floor covers slightly less than 1100 square meters of this part of the building.

"In terms of functionality, no significant changes have been designed, so the layout of the rooms will remain largely the same as it has been until now," Rogač pointed out.

Previously, a large amphitheater was built at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and two smaller ones were adapted, reconstructed facades were installed and solar panels were installed on the roof, which, they say, further improved the energy efficiency of the facility.
