The "Lions" won 36:32 in Vantaa in the first match of the World Cup pre-qualifications.
"An extremely important match as part of the World Cup qualifiers. We played the first half very seriously, but we conceded too many goals in the second," said Dinar.
The coach also commented on the return of Nebojša Simić, who immediately shone with 14 saves, as well as Aleksandar Bakić, and captain Branko Vujović took responsibility in the final minutes and broke the resistance of his rivals with several goals.
"Regarding the rotation, we saw Aleksandar Bakić playing in positions three, four and five. We are also very pleased with the return of Nebojša Simić and the first win for Branko Vujović as captain."
The rematch is on Sunday in Podgorica, and the winner of this two-legged tie will face Slovenia in the May play-off.
"We need to play a good and serious match in Podgorica to complete the first part of the play-offs," concluded Dinar.
