At this year's Ideaton "Health 4.0", the best teams were "Mamini Frojdovci", "Vita Sana" and "Dežurni doktori" who stood out with their solutions. The real victory, however, belongs to the community that has these talented young people. The event was held on March 10th and 11th at the Science and Technology Park. It brought together high school students and students from various fields, showing that every activity can play an important role in improving the health of an individual, and thus the community.
An expert jury consisting of professionals from several comparative fields evaluated the developed solutions and selected the three best teams.
Valuable prizes were provided for the most successful teams. First place went to the team “Mamini Frojdovci”, consisting of Jasmin Suličić, Lara Sekularac and Anđela Novaković, students of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Donja Gorica. As a prize, the team members received a voucher worth 150 USD, provided by General Assembly, which they can use to attend numerous courses and workshops on their official online platform.
Third place went to the team “Doctors on Duty”, consisting of students from the Secondary Medical School, Magdalena Šćekić, Leonard Djokaj and Dino Ganjola. This team developed a non-invasive device connected to an application for monitoring vitamin deficiencies in the body, and as a prize they received a monthly membership to the Body Transforming studio.
The "Health 4.0" Ideathon once again showed that health is a much broader concept than what the health system encompasses, and that innovation, interdisciplinary cooperation, and an entrepreneurial approach can significantly contribute to creating a healthy community by improving the quality of life.
Closing the Ideaton, the president of the association, Prof. Dr. Ivana Ognjanović, emphasized that this approach is an important step towards pushing the boundaries in thinking about health and developing solutions that can have a real impact on the everyday lives of citizens.
Ideathon was organized by the Montenegrin Association for Medical Informatics - MAMI, as part of the InnoHealthPreneur project, funded by the Innovation Fund.
The goal of Ideaton was to show how creative and innovative solutions can contribute to making health and health care better and more accessible in different settings – in schools, cities, the workplace and rural areas.
Supporting the creative ideas that were born during these two days at the Science and Technology Park shows that Montenegro has enormous potential in the digital transformation of healthcare, and
The winning ideas are the best announcement of those applications that can contribute to a healthier and better quality of life.
