Investigative Judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica, Suzana Mugo\u0161a, ordered Moni\u0107 to be detained because he is suspected of a criminal offense for which the law can impose a prison sentence of ten years or a more severe penalty and which is particularly serious due to the manner of commission or consequences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moni\u0107 was arrested on Monday in Ro\u017eaje on the orders of the Special Prosecutor's Office, which informed the public this morning that it had initiated criminal proceedings against this suspect for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and smuggling more than four tons of cocaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Acting on a criminal report from the Special Police Department, the Special State Prosecutor's Office issued an order to conduct an investigation and thus initiated criminal proceedings against the defendant HM, a citizen of Montenegro and the Netherlands, for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and five criminal offenses of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, the subject of which is the smuggling of a total of 4,168 kg of cocaine from South America to Western Europe \u2013 the SDT specified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moni\u0107 is accused of being part of a criminal organization led by fugitive police officer Ljubo Milovi\u0107 and Mileta Ojdani\u0107. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The SDT has also identified Ivan Stamatovi\u0107, Neboj\u0161a Bugarin, Petar Lazovi\u0107, Milan Popovi\u0107, Bo\u017eidar Jabu\u010danin, Milo\u0161 Mi\u0161urovi\u0107, Aleksandar Kekovi\u0107, Vladimir Baj\u010deta, Goran Stojanovi\u0107, Dra\u017een Milovi\u0107, Filip Zindovi\u0107, Ivan Nikoli\u0107, Tihomir Ad\u017ei\u0107, Marko Novakovi\u0107, Dejan Kne\u017eevi\u0107, Milo Bo\u017eovi\u0107, Bojan Ojdani\u0107, Radovan Perovi\u0107, Vjekoslav Lambuli\u0107, Vuka\u0161in Vojinovi\u0107, Aleksandar Mijajlovi\u0107, Vuk and Vlado Bani\u0107evi\u0107 as members of this criminal organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The SDT said that Moni\u0107, together with certain other members of the criminal group, during 2019 and 2020, illegally transported 500 kilograms of cocaine from Ecuador to Germany, 793 and 846 kilograms of cocaine from Ecuador to the Netherlands, and 1,044.71 and 985 kilograms of cocaine from Ecuador to Belgium for sale.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
