Minister Jokovi\u0107 participated in a closed ministerial roundtable, chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey, Ibrahim Yumakl\u0131. On this occasion, he presented the key challenges that Montenegro faces - increased risk of floods and droughts, pressures on water quality and the need to strengthen institutional resilience - and the concrete measures that our country is taking in response to these challenges. The successful cooperation in the field of agriculture and the positive results of the implementation of the agreement between the relevant ministries to date were particularly emphasized, with a shared commitment to its further improvement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The significant investment potential of Montenegro was emphasized and an invitation was extended to Turkish investors to invest in the areas of water, forestry and fruit and vegetable processing, plant production, and livestock. During the working visit to Istanbul, the Montenegrin delegation held a series of meetings with representatives of the participating countries of the Forum, as well as with representatives of Turkish companies operating in the field of water supply and water infrastructure, reviewing concrete opportunities for future cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
