world champion, Montenegrin chess players 11th place"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Poland, after ten days of great battles, deservedly crossed the finish line first, with eight wins and one draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place went to the Ukrainian national team, which achieved eight victories, but suffered a defeat in a duel with Poland, so it had to settle for a silver medal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners' podium was completed by the Serbian team, which recorded six wins, one draw and two losses, against the gold and silver medalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Individually, the best on the first board was Marin Pulvet from Spain, on the second the gold went to Oleg Tuka from Ukraine, and on the third to Stefan Janji\u0107 from Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most successful player on the fourth board was Oleksandr Ridzel from Ukraine, while the best reserve was his compatriot Igor Shepelev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Montenegrin national team ended the tournament the way it started, with a victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the ninth round, the Kenyan team was routinely defeated, with a maximum score of 4:0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In nine rounds, the Montenegrin national team achieved three victories against Kenya, Croatia and North Macedonia, shared points in the duel with Lithuania, while suffering defeats against Spain, Uzbekistan, Germany and Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Montenegrin chess players lost all four matches in which they were defeated by a minimum score of 2.5-1.5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first board for the Montenegrin selection was played by international master Predrag Nika\u010d, who achieved a score of 5.5 points in eight duels played, and his only defeat was in the second round in a duel with the current world champion, Spanish international master Martin Pulvat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other board, Vjekoslav Vulevi\u0107 showed a great game, winning six points in eight duels played.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team also featured Milan Ivanovic, from whom more was expected, who scored two points, while Radovan Damjanovic added 3.5 points to the team score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team members, besides them, were Boro An\u0111i\u0107 and Radenko Lacmanovi\u0107, who was also the national team coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The World Team Championship, which brought together 21 national teams from around the world, was jointly organized by the Chess Federation, the Paralympic Committee and the Blind Federation of Montenegro, with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The championship was declared closed by the President of the Association of the Blind, Goran Macanovi\u0107, and those present at the ceremony were also greeted by the Vice President of IBCE, Pjotr
