In an extraordinary atmosphere, with verses by poet and program moderator Ana \u0110urovi\u0107 from Podgorica, and performances of folk songs by Koprivica and Milan Gvozdenovi\u0107, the meeting was the best confirmation that such cultural events are of great social importance for institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the very beginning, the guests and all those present were welcomed by the institution's secretary, Andrijana Vasi\u0107, who pointed out that the Tisa Day Care Center began operating in 2004, as the first day care center of its kind in Montenegro, which was an important step towards improving the social protection of children with developmental disabilities. Vasi\u0107 also emphasized that through numerous activities, from rehabilitation, education and care to social and recreational content, Tisa has become an example of good practice and has been recognized as an important socio-humanitarian institution and a good example for the establishment of similar institutions in Montenegro. She also emphasized the importance of young people growing up with the support of a professional team and the community, and that full attention is paid to users of all ages at the Day Care Center, especially in an educational sense through workshops, group and individual work with educators and the entire Tisa staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Poetess Ana Djurovic<\/strong>, the author of an educational book \u201cGuess Who I Am\u201d about historical figures of Montenegro, this time asked the little ones suggestive questions in verse about social and geographical concepts, which the children successfully and joyfully guessed in unison with applause. \u0110urovi\u0107 also emphasized that the musical and poetic caravan \u201cKoprivica and Friends\u201d is touring all over Montenegro, and that over the past year and this year, more than forty programs have been performed in many cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Emphasizing that vocal soloists from several cities also perform at such events, Ana \u0110urovi\u0107 announced the young hope of Montenegrin folk music. Milan Gvozdenovi\u0107<\/strong> from Bijelo Polje, noting that he graduated from the Secondary Medical School, but that he intends to become a doctor in performing folk songs, which Gvozdenovi\u0107 then brilliantly proved by singing famous hits from the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After Gvozdenovi\u0107, Koprivica performed, who pointed out that Milan Gvozdenovi\u0107 is clearly the most talented young folk music performer in Montenegro and wished him much success in his upcoming career. Koprivica then continued the program with a mix of evergreen melodies by Halid Be\u0161li\u0107, Beki Beki\u0107, Enes Begovi\u0107, Milo\u0161 Radovanovi\u0107, Aco Pejovi\u0107 and others, accompanied by singing by the entire staff of the Center, who at the end of the gathering, accompanied by his accordion, also danced the U\u017eice kolo in a great and memorable mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Koprivica and friends will perform today at 11 a.m. at the long-term prison in UIKS, where the special guest will be the prominent vocal soloist of Montenegrin folk music Igor \u0110urovi\u0107. On May 10, they will perform at the Special Hospital for Psychiatry \"Dobrota\" in Kotor.
