The talks were dedicated to the European Union enlargement process, with a special focus on Montenegro's progress in the negotiation chapters related to the rule of law. Minister Bo\u017eovi\u0107 briefed Minister \u0160porer on the key results and challenges in the implementation of judicial reforms, emphasizing Montenegro's commitment to strengthening the independence, efficiency and transparency of the judicial system.
Minister Sporer confirmed Austria's support for the reform processes in Montenegro, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement of institutional capacities and alignment with the acquis communautaire. Special attention was paid to the exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of justice, including the digitalization of court proceedings and improving access to justice.
The interlocutors also discussed possibilities for improving bilateral agreements, with an emphasis on the areas of judicial cooperation, extradition and mutual legal assistance. Both sides confirmed their readiness to further deepen partnership relations through concrete initiatives and joint projects.
