The summit once again confirmed Montenegro's position as a reliable partner and a relevant address for dialogue on key economic and development issues of the contemporary moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the first day of the event, Minister of Energy and Mining, MA Admir \u0160ahmanovi\u0107, participated in the panel \"Renewable Energy Economy: Unlocking Investment, Scale and Speed\", where he spoke about Montenegro's ambitious plans in the field of energy, with a special focus on the development of renewable energy sources, modernization of infrastructure and attracting credible investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to Minister \u0160ahmanovi\u0107, the panel also included Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, CEO of Masdar, Daniel Calderon, co-founder and managing partner of Alcazar Energy, St\u00e9phanie Capdeville, member of the Board of Directors of the Green for Growth Fund (GGF), and Grzegorz Zieli\u0144ski, representative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minister \u0160ahmanovi\u0107 emphasized that Montenegro today pursues a responsible and clearly defined energy policy, aimed at decarbonization, strengthening energy security and full alignment with European standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Montenegro has recognized the moment of change and resolutely embarked on the path of energy transition. Our goal is not just to follow European trends, but to be an active part of the solution when it comes to green energy, regional connectivity and new investment cycles. The time for planning is behind us - the time for implementation has begun,\" said Minister \u0160ahmanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that the country is already creating the conditions to become the energy hub of the region and a reliable partner of the European Union, through reforms of the legislative framework, improvement of the investment climate, and development of strategic projects in the energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the first day of the Summit, Minister \u0160ahmanovi\u0107 was presented with an award by the Summit's founder and executive director, Biljana Brightwhite, in recognition of his contribution to the development of regional dialogue, the improvement of energy policy, and the strengthening of Montenegro's investment potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first day of the Summit was marked by numerous bilateral meetings, business talks and gatherings of representatives of governments, financial institutions and leading companies, confirming the role of the Adria Future Summit as a platform on which ideas are transformed into concrete partnerships and projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
