Trump recalled that on Tuesday, the two countries met for the first time in 34 years in Washington with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier today, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun rejected talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a number of reasons, the main one being Israel's refusal to halt its attacks on Lebanon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iran tied its ceasefire with the US and Israel to the ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel, but the US and Israel claimed that Lebanon was not included in the ceasefire. Pakistan, which is mediating the negotiations, announced that the attack on Lebanon was included in the ceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Due to this disrespect, Iran refused to open the Strait of Hormuz, which was part of the two-week ceasefire agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
