We are publishing their statement in its entirety:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \"Basketball club Ibar informs the public that it finished the 2025\/26 season as the penultimate team in the championship and that next year it will play in the First B League of Montenegro. We consider this outcome a failure and express our regret for the relegation.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n The players gave their all to a large extent, but in the decisive moments there was a lack of additional quality, as well as sporting luck, especially in the matches that were decided in extra time. In the end, we were one win away from survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are not looking for an alibi for the achieved result, but we express some dissatisfaction with the development of certain matches in the finals of the championship, where the impression is that some outcomes were predetermined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We would like to emphasize that the Municipality of Ro\u017eaje showed maximum understanding and provided continuous support to the club throughout the season, for which we are sincerely grateful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We owe a special thanks to our fans for their strong support throughout the season, and for their constant encouragement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We must point out that the large number of fines imposed by the Federation has placed an additional financial burden on the club, and it is necessary to seriously work on this segment in the coming period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Basketball club Ibar is a club of all citizens of Ro\u017eaje and as such must remain above any divisions. We do not allow and will not allow any political influence on the club, because we believe that only togetherness, sport and a healthy atmosphere can be the foundation of its further development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are aware that the success of a club is not measured solely by results on the field, but also by the overall organization and development.
