Girl and man killed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tragedy on the A228<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The accident happened at around 6.25pm \u200b\u200bon the A228 Boyle Way in East Peckham, near Tonbridge. According to a police report, a DAF tipper truck collided with a tractor-trailer travelling in the same direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Victims and injured<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"Our patrol cars, ambulances and firefighters attended the scene. A man in his 30s, who was in the carriage, sadly died at the scene,\" Kent Police said. A young girl and a woman, who were also in the carriage, were rushed to hospital. The girl later succumbed to her injuries, while the woman remains in a critical condition. The pony pulling the carriage died at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Investigation underway<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police have arrested a 29-year-old truck driver from Kent and are in custody.
