A special individual award in the amount of 200 euros was awarded to teacher Sava Kova\u010devi\u0107 and computer science professor Ivana Jankovi\u0107 from the \"Oktoih\" Elementary School in Podgorica, for the preparation entitled \"Smart city: energy guardian!\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Director of the Institute for Education, Raba Hod\u017ei\u0107, congratulated the awarded institutions and individuals, emphasizing that their ideas, dedication, and the quality of the implemented activities confirm that the education system has strong potential to contribute to the development of awareness about the importance of energy conservation and environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is precisely through concrete activities that connect the curriculum with real-life challenges that students develop responsibility, critical thinking and awareness of sustainable development. On this occasion, I would like to highlight the extremely important, long-standing cooperation with the \"Do Good\" Foundation, which continuously provides support to the Institute for Education. This cooperation is reflected both through participation in the work of the coordination group for the implementation of the \"Eco-Schools\" program, and through the organization of various activities and competitions such as this one. The Director of the \"Do Good\" Foundation, Marija Manja Jovovi\u0107, thanked the educators for their participation and emphasized the importance of their role in the education and upbringing of young generations, as well as their contribution to the development of creativity, innovation, and awareness of the importance of energy and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first-prize winning preparation, \"Smart city: energy guardian!\", was prepared by Sava Kova\u010devi\u0107 and Ivana Jankovi\u0107, and together with biology teacher Mersiha Pepeljak, they implemented it with 84 students from grades 1, 6, and 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The winner of the special award, Sava Kova\u010devi\u0107, emphasized that competitions like \"Do Good, Save Energy\" are important because they provide an opportunity for educators and students to express themselves in a way that often goes beyond the framework of regular classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This award is not only recognition for our work so far, but also additional motivation to continue even stronger. The second-place preparation \"Energy in Our Hands\" was designed and implemented by Maja Kalezi\u0107, a biology teacher, and Biljana Krivokapi\u0107, a teacher of computer science and technology, at the Elementary School \"\u0160tampar Makarije\" from Podgorica, with the participation of students in grades 7 and 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Third place was won by the preparation \"Renewable Energy Sources and Practical Ecological Action in the Schoolyard\", which was prepared and implemented by Professor Olivera Lu\u010di\u0107 from the Secondary Economic and Catering School in Nik\u0161i\u0107, with around 50 students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
