Turkey is the toughest rival in terms of rating, having arrived from the first pot, and we have met three times at the European Championships so far and still have not won, but all matches were more than a decade ago (2015, 2013 and 2011). The Turkish women played the World Cup qualifiers in March and managed to qualify from Group C, with Australia, Hungary and Japan, with a result of 2 wins and 3 losses. At last year's EuroBasket, they won 7th place, after narrowly losing to Italy in the quarterfinals. The national team is made up mostly of players from Fenerbah\u00e7e and Galatasaray, the teams that will play the Euroleague Final 6 in Zaragoza in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have a positive relationship with Poland (2 wins, 1 loss), but we have not met in official matches for a long time - the last time was in the EuroBasket 2013 qualifiers. The Polish team finished the first phase of the qualifiers as the winners of Group \"C\", with all 6 triumphs in duels with Slovakia, Romania and Cyprus and were certainly not the team that was desired from the third hat. Our coach Jelena \u0160kerovi\u0107, who coaches the Polonia team from Warsaw, knows them well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our national team was in the group and in the EuroBasket 2021 qualifiers with Israel and won both times. However, the Israelis, like Poland, finished the first phase of the qualifiers with all 6 wins, in first place in Group \"A\", in which they played with Luxembourg, Ireland and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Interestingly, the Israel - Bosnia and Herzegovina match was played in Riga, on the eve of our selection's duel with Ukraine, because these two selections were hosts in the capital of Latvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
