During the meeting, Vice President Camaj thanked the Republic of Austria for its continuous and strong support for Montenegro on its path towards membership in the European Union. He emphasized that Austria's experiences in the European integration process are of great importance for Montenegro, and stressed that the vast majority of Montenegrin citizens support the country's European path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He expressed his expectation that Austria would continue to provide strong support to Montenegro in the further process of accession to the European Union, emphasizing the importance of partnership and continued cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Camaj also pointed to the friendly and meaningful relations between the two countries, which are characterized by developed political dialogue and mutual commitment to their further improvement. He particularly emphasized that he values \u200b\u200bAustria's historically good and friendly relations both towards Montenegro and the Albanian people of which he is a member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, Haubner highlighted the exceptionally good relations between Austria and Montenegro, emphasizing the friendship between the two countries, and assessed that Austria is an important actor in the process of European Union enlargement to the Western Balkans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He pointed out that Montenegro has made the most progress in the accession process, congratulating it on its results so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The interlocutors also pointed to the good cooperation between the two parliaments, assessing that there is room for its further improvement, with special emphasis placed on strengthening economic cooperation, especially in the areas of tourism, energy and agriculture, which Vice President Camaj supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the visit, Vice President Camaj will also meet with members of the Austria-Montenegro Bilateral Parliamentary Group, as well as with the Vice President of the Justice Committee, Alma Zadi\u0107. A meeting is also planned with the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Petra Bajer, who is also the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
