As announced by the Ministry of Defense, Krapovi\u0107 today laid wreaths at the \"People's Hero Milovan \u0160aranovi\u0107\" barracks in Danilovgrad and \"Vojvoda Marko Miljanov Popovi\u0107\" in Podgorica, on the occasion of the anniversary of the beginning of the NATO bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Today, we remember with reverence all the innocent victims and express our deep sympathy to their families. Their suffering remains a lasting warning about the consequences of conflict and the importance of preserving peace,\" said Krapovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that it is important to cultivate a culture of remembrance and responsibly view the contemporary security context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"We are aware that the events of 1999 have left a deep mark on our society. Today, as a member of NATO, Montenegro operates in a significantly different security framework, contributing to joint efforts to preserve peace and stability,\" said Krapovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that Montenegro's membership in NATO implies a responsibility to build a more secure future through partnership and dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"Our obligation is to contribute to peace, cooperation and stability by learning from the past,\" concluded Krapovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
