More precisely, the Basic Court in \u017dabljak ceases to exist as an independent entity and becomes a regional department of the Basic Court in Pljevlja. Pljevlja takes over all employees, cases, equipment and budget of the \u017dabljak court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"The transformation of the Basic Court in \u017dabljak into the Department of the Basic Court in Pljevlja is the first concrete step in the optimization of the court network that we are implementing together with partners from the European Commission, based on objective indicators and directed towards one clear goal: that the citizens of Montenegro have stable and efficient access to justice,\" said the Minister of Justice, Bojan Bo\u017eovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explains that the trials are continuing in \u017dabljak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"The difference is that citizens are now getting what they haven't had for years: guaranteed filling of judicial positions and systemic efficiency. It is precisely because of this chronic problem with unfilled positions that we don't call this reform rationalization \u2014 we call it optimization, because that's what it is,\" said Bo\u017eovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Minister notes that the cases will not be redirected to other courts in Montenegro \u2014 neither to Nik\u0161i\u0107, nor to any other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"They will be decided in \u017dabljak, with the participation of judges from the Basic Court in Pljevlja. The only formal change is that there will be no position of court president.
