Minors who have been sentenced to community service or humanitarian work will be able to serve it in 23 companies and institutions in the capital, including the City Cleanup, Greenery, Roads, Markets and Markets, Sports Facilities, Parking Service, Landfill, Radio-Television Podgorica, as well as public institutions KIC \"Budo Tomovi\u0107\", City Theater and National Library \"Radosav Ljumovi\u0107\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As announced by the Capital City, the expert service of the High Court is proposing where the minor will serve his sentence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"The minor is obliged to report to the company or institution specified in the enforcement decision, provided that in accordance with the law, the minor may work for a maximum of 120 hours in a period of up to six months, which is the duration of this special obligation, but in such a way that the work does not interfere with the minor's education or employment,\" it was stated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In most cases, this measure will be imposed for minor forms of delinquency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Podgorica Mayor Sa\u0161a Mujovi\u0107, all of this has an educational and preventive character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"It's a great relief for us and can be a great help, and also a path and process for these young people in their resocialization,\" he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The non-governmental sector welcomes the agreement and points out that community service achieves responsibility and contributes to the community, and gives young people a chance for rehabilitation instead of stigmatization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Juventas has been cooperating with the High Court for more than ten years, and Marija Ru\u017ei\u0107-Stojovi\u0107 says that the results are visible in the young people who have served their sentences in that organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"We have no data that any of them have committed a crime again and we consider this measure to be very useful and preventive because it is somehow comprehensive and provides young people with a safe, secure environment, non-judgmental in the first place, preserving their privacy. They can find support, understanding. They are in a developmental, challenging period when it is not easy to approach every young person who finds themselves in a situation as a perpetrator of a crime,\" says Ru\u017ei\u0107-Stojovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
