The interlocutors pointed to the findings of the latest global research showing that women with disabilities are at significantly higher risk of violence compared to women without disabilities, including violence from partners, family members and support persons,\" the statement said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is added that estimates by international organizations indicate that women with disabilities are two to four times more likely to be exposed to intimate partner violence than women without disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"It was particularly emphasized that sexual violence represents one of the most serious forms of violation of the rights of women with disabilities, while economic violence and financial dependence often further complicate reporting violence and access to protection and justice.
