Montenegro will be competing at the Games for the first time, and Montenegrin parasport will be represented by snowboarder Andrej \u0160ibali\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 14th Games will feature 665 athletes from 56 countries around the world, competing in six sports, or 79 disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They will compete for medals in para-alpine skiing, para-biathlon, para-cross skiing, para-ice hockey, para-snowboarding and wheelchair curling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u0160ibali\u0107 will compete in the banked slalom discipline, in the LL2 category, which is scheduled for March 14th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Games will mark the 50th anniversary of the first Paralympic Winter Games, and will return to Italy for the second time in history, 20 years after Turin 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
