As reported by Belgrade's Sportal, after weeks of speculation and turbulence in the Serbian Water Polo Federation, Vladimir Vujasinović has reached an agreement with the Federation's leaders to take over the national team.
It is added that the agreement was reached on Saturday evening, and the officialization of the cooperation is expected in the coming days.
The legend of Yugoslav, Serbian and European water polo comes to the bench to replace Uroš Stevanović.
He withdrew after Slobodan Soro became the president of the Federation, and it remains to be seen how the popular Vujas will solve the problem with the players, as 11 of them signed a statement in which they stated that they would not play for the national team while Soro is at the head of the VSS.
