Radovan Kavaja's team secured participation in the European and World Championships for players under 17 and wrote the most beautiful pages of our football.

The "Falcons" defeated Greece (1:0) and Norway (4:0) in Bar in just three days and secured first place in the qualifying round, which guarantees qualification for the Euro and World Cup.

Apart from scoring five goals in two matches, Simon Sošić kept the net intact.

"It's a great honor to be called the hero of such a big competition. I hope to experience the same games like this in the final tournament of the European Championship, but also the World Championship," said Sošić.

What is the greatest strength of this generation?

"Our greatest strength is our heart when we go out on the field, but also off it. We act like brothers, and I think it shows on the field, because we die for each other," Sošić pointed out.

Captain Lazar Popović emphasizes that everyone is still in a state of euphoria.

"The impressions are phenomenal, we are all overjoyed and we are still under euphoria. I think we knew the result would be like this, because the camaraderie in the locker room and outside it was perfect. We act like a family and die for each other on the field," said Popović.

What was the verdict?

"The determination we showed, especially in the second half, was decisive. We knew that the pitch would be difficult due to the rain and that we would face a tough opponent. But we ignored all that. We came into the game strong, played with heart and won," added Popović.

The Cadets will host the Swedish national team in Bar on Tuesday (3pm) in a match without any significant outcome.
