Primorje celebrated in Aleksandrovac, Mićović "flirted" with a triple-double

The basketball players of Primorje 1945 ended their debut appearance in the ABA2 league with a victory.

Pavle Roganović's team defeated Student in Aleksandrovac tonight (96:93) in the last match of the league phase of the second strongest regional competition.

The home team controlled the match for two and a half quarters – they led 8:0, and at the end of the first quarter they had an 11-point advantage on several occasions. At the beginning of the second quarter, Student reached the maximum plus 12 (39:27), but the team from Novi Sad managed to reduce the deficit to single digits 49:40 by the time the game was over.

With a 13:4 run, Primorac took the lead for the first time in the third quarter, 54:53, after a point by Ognjen Milović. After that, the game was back-to-back until the middle of the last quarter, when Milović hit a step-back three-pointer for a plus six – 83:77.

Student did not give up, he managed to get to 91:90 with 32 seconds left after Stefan Milošević hit two of three shots. After Roganović's timeout, Pavle Đurišić was fouled and made both penalties – 93:90. In the next attack, Stefan Bošković missed a three-pointer, and Jovan Šljivančanin hit one of two shots – 94:90. The drama did not end there, because eight seconds before the end, Milošević hit a 6.75 from outside the line for the tie – 94:93. After that, Đurišić hit both penalties and put an end to the match.

The most efficient player for the winners was Ognjen Mićović with 24 points, nine rebounds and the same number of assists. He was followed by Pavle Đurišić with 22 points and nine rebounds and Jovan Šljivančanin with 20 points.

On the other side, Stefan Milošević led the way with 27 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Both teams finished the league season with a score of 2-6.
