This extremely strong competition features boxers born in 2008 and 2009 from the following national teams: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cuba, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden and Ukraine. The tournament is particularly important due to the traditionally strong boxing powers such as Cuba, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Azerbaijan, which guarantees top-notch and exciting fights.
The colors of Montenegro will be defended by two talented boxers who have been intensively preparing for this challenge: Vuk Dabović and Vasilije Kujundžić. Dabović will be the first to enter the ring tomorrow in the round of 16 of the 65kg category against Croatian Andjelko Crnogorac, while by the will of the draw, Vasilije Kujundžić, in whose 90kg category six boxers have been registered, will begin his performance in Budva in the semi-finals against Ukrainian Vladislav Naumenko.
Both are entering the tournament fully prepared, aware that they will face strong international competition and the opportunity to prove themselves on the big stage.
The tournament supervisor is Yakov Voloch from Israel, whose presence further confirms the seriousness and international significance of the event.
The opening ceremony of the tournament is scheduled for tomorrow at 3 pm, while the final fights will be held on March 11th in the Congress Hall of the Splendid Hotel, where a top-notch sports spectacle and fights for medals between the best young boxers in the world are expected. Admission is free on all competition days.
The organizer of the tournament is the Boxing Federation of Montenegro, which has been given a new opportunity to confirm its reputation as a successful host of major international competitions, as well as confirmation that it has the capacity for top sporting events.
The "Adriatic Pearl" tournament once again brings a blend of youth, talent and top-notch sport, confirming that Montenegro is becoming an unavoidable destination on the international boxing map.
