Sutjeska defeated Dečić at the "Besa Arena" in Tuzi (2:1) in the derby of the 25th round of the Meridianbet First Montenegrin Football League and took a big step towards the championship title, although there are still 11 rounds left until the end of the championship.

LEADER WINS TUZI FOR BIG STEP TOWARDS TITLE

The autumn champion recorded its third consecutive victory, or fourth in the last five games, and the second under the leadership of Milorad Peković, who led the team today against the club with which he made history last season and won the championship title.

Sutjeska now has a huge ten-point advantage over Dečić, who suffered their second defeat in the spring part of the season.

The team from Nikšić also has seven points more than second-placed Mornar, who convincingly defeated Budućnost in Bar (3:0) in this round, while Petrovac took third place after a victory after a turnaround against Jedinstvo in Bijelo Polje (2:1) and is now eight points behind the leader.

As for the derby itself, the guests took the lead in the third minute, when Vasilije Čavor took advantage of Asmir Kajević's gift and hit the far corner of the goal.

Nebojša Jandrić's team responded in the 18th minute. Sutjeska made a mistake in the middle of the field, Dečić won the ball, and Trimror Seljima was launched, who received the ball in a run and entered the penalty area, and then routinely checked Vladan Giljen.

In the first half, Dečić had a chance through Andrej Bajović, while Sutjeska threatened through Jovan Čađenović and the returning Ante Babić.

Three points for the leaders were brought by Vasko Kalezić, who received the ball from Marko Šimun, then skillfully freed himself from the keeper and hit the near corner from the edge of the penalty area in the 55th minute.

Dečić could have equalized in the 74th minute. Jonathan Dresaj crossed from the right, and Vuk Striković headed the ball, but Guillen made a phenomenal save to clear the ball from under the crossbar.

About ten minutes before the end of regular time, Šimun had a chance, and on the other side the home team's counterattack opened up, but Giljen and the Sutjeska defense managed to intervene together.

In the 85th minute, the "blues" could have closed the game, Ivan Vukčević had two great chances, Miloš Vračar also threatened dangerously, but there was no change in the score. Fortunately for Sutjeska, the rival did not punish the misses.

MORNAR OVERCOMES ANAEMIC FUTURE AND IS ALONE IN 2ND PLACE

Mornar taught a lesson to the current champion, the team of Buducnost, and celebrated with a convincing 3:0 victory in a beautiful setting at "Topolica".

Barani thus managed to beat Podgorica for the first time this season, and at the same time, escape them with a seven-point lead.

Mornar achieved its third victory in the second half of the season (second in a row), which preserved its second position, while Buducnost ended a mini-series of two triumphs and suffered its second failure this spring (conceding three goals for the first time) and is at a dangerous risk of qualifying for Europe.

Barani were far better today and deservedly won the entire game in a blitzkrieg in seven minutes.

The home team took the lead in the fifth minute. Demir Škrijelj and Jovan Dašić combined on the right side, who crossed the ball, and the ball went through the box and fooled goalkeeper Filip Domazetović.

Just seven minutes later, Mornar doubled their lead. It was a great team move and transition – Stefan Denković set up Nikola Stijepović who crossed the ball on the ground, and Balša Sekulić passed the ball into the net between two defenders, falling from the penalty area, and scored his 11th goal of the season, tying him with Jezera's Đorđe Maksimović for the top scorer spot.

Budućnost made their first attempt on the home team's goal in the 40th minute, when Stefan Đukanović shot from distance, but Benjamin Krijestarac was sure of it.

At the beginning of the second half, Darko Zorić had a chance to decide the match, but the score remained 2:0.

By the end of the match, the "blues" were trying to at least halve the deficit, and Marko Milickovic had three good chances - once he was blocked, the second time he shot just wide of the goal, and on the third occasion his shot was brilliantly saved by the rather inactive Krijestarac today.

Buducnost went for all or nothing in the final minutes, and then Mornar put an end to the match through the reserves on a counterattack two minutes before the end of the regular time. Petar Vukčević passed down the right side, laid the ball for Marko Đurišić, who with a precise shot from about 17-18 meters checked Domazetović, who could have reacted better.

The home team almost scored a fourth goal, but the shot by young Vukas Dragović ended just over the crossbar.

PETROVAC TURNED "FENJERAŠA" AND TAKED 3RD PLACE

Petrovac recorded its fourth win in a row, after coming from behind to celebrate against Jedinstvo in Bijelo Polje (2:1).

The team from Bijelo Polje remained at the bottom with 21 points, while Petrovac took third place from Dečić and came close to their neighbors from Bar by just a point, and Sutjeska by minus eight.

All three goals were seen in the second half.

The home team took the lead in the third minute of extra time through the seasoned Žarko Korac, who scored a beautiful volley from about 20 meters diagonally from the right side.

The guests equalized in the 73rd minute with a goal by Savo Arambašić from a penalty kick that was previously missed by Jedinstvo goalkeeper Rijad Džafić.

A complete turnaround was orchestrated by reserve player Marko Franeta with a masterful goal in the second minute of stoppage time.

VICTORIES OF MUDODIST AND ARSENAL

Mladost Lob.bet defeated Jezero (3:1) at the FSCG Training Camp, also after a turnaround.

The team from Donja Gorica ended a streak of three consecutive losses, while the team from Plav were defeated for the second time in a row.

With this triumph, only the second of the season, Mladost came within a point of their current rival, and at the same time ended a streak of three defeats in head-to-head matches.

Miodrag Džudović's team took the lead in the 24th minute with a goal from Đorđe Maksimović.

The home team tied the score with a penalty kick by Dušan Vuković in the 54th minute.

A complete turnaround was orchestrated by Lazar Knežević in the 85th minute.

The final score was set by Vuković with his second goal of the match, after he ran on a counterattack and took advantage of Nemanja Pavićević's pass in the third minute of stoppage time.

Arsenal narrowly defeated Bokelj SBBet in the derby of the hinterland and the coast, in front of their fans, leaving them in last place together with Jedinstvo.

The team from Tivat ended a three-game losing streak, while the team from Kotor suffered their fourth consecutive defeat.

The only goal of the game was scored by Neđeljko Kovinić in the 33rd minute. Aleksandar Macanović found Staniša Mandić on the right with a great long ball, who passed it into the box for Kovinić, who made no mistake.
