Barcelona was on the verge of a sensational turnaround, but Atletico Madrid is going to the final of the King's Cup.

The "Jorgandžije" won the first match at home (4:0), and the Catalans celebrated a Pyrrhic victory (3:0) at the "Camp Nou" tonight.

As expected, Hansi Flick's team dominated in all segments tonight, but fell "short" of a goal.

The home team took the lead in the 29th minute when teenager Mark Bernal scored on an assist from his peer Lamin Jamal.

Rafinha doubled the advantage of the defending champions from the penalty spot in the fifth minute of stoppage time in the first half.

Bernal made it 3:0 with his second goal of the match, when he did a great job at the far post after a cross from Joao Cancelo.

The home team went for a fourth goal, and the closest they came was Gerard Martin in the 89th minute, when he fired a shot just over the bar from 15 meters. On the other side, Alexandre Serlot missed a chance to settle things a little earlier.

Atletico will face either Athletic Bilbao or Real Sociedad in the final. The first leg at San Mames went to Sociedad, with the return leg taking place tomorrow night in San Sebastian.
