"One person suffered serious bodily injuries, while 22 people were slightly injured. In the same period, traffic police officers, as part of repressive activities, filed 270 misdemeanor reports, issued 1,852 misdemeanor warrants, temporarily confiscated 27 pairs of license plates, and removed the same number of vehicles from traffic," the police said.
93 drivers were deprived of their liberty, of which:
· 26 drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol in a concentration greater than 1 g/kg or refusing to take a breathalyzer test;
· 21 drivers for driving under the influence of narcotics or other psychoactive substances, or refusing to take a test;
· 46 drivers for committing other serious violations under the Road Traffic Safety Act and the Criminal Code.
"Of the total number of persons deprived of their liberty, the most were deprived in Podgorica - 43 drivers, six in Budva and by officers of the Mobile Traffic Police Unit, five in Kotor and Nikšić, and four in Bijelo Polje and Bar," the police concluded.
