The Blues welcome Dubai tomorrow in the second game of the ABA League playoff semifinals.
The team from the Emirates won their first match as hosts in Zenica and will now have the first match point for the final, as the semi-final series is played to two wins.
The coach of the Montenegrin champion, Andrej Žakelj, emphasizes that the key is in defense.
"There's not much philosophizing - we have to be much tougher and more aggressive than in the first game. We're playing at home and we have to play very physically, but also fix some things we did poorly in the previous match. We need to play relaxed, but with a clear goal and the desire to, with the support of our fans, celebrate in the end," said the Slovenian expert.
Partizan is the first finalist.
"I expect a loud atmosphere and an extremely difficult, competitive game. Dubai is one of the best teams in the ABA League – they are tall, aggressive on the ball and fast. We have to be maximally focused on the details and implement the game plan as best as possible. The key is in the details – from setting good blocks and correctly executing actions, to respecting everything we have prepared through scouting. These are the segments in which we have to be better. The support of the fans is extremely important to us. They bring us energy, especially when the opponent makes a series. They get us back into rhythm and give us additional motivation to fight."
The match at "Morača" starts at 7 p.m.
